It honestly depends on the day. Maybe Jungle because I saw the premiere on MTV and it blew me away. That’s a big, substantial memory for me.
Funny story for me about Welcome To The Jungle... I remember a very long time ago watching Welcome To The Jungle video and wondering why the WTTJ Singer was ripping off the Sweet Child Of Mine singer! LMAO!

“November Rain” was the first one that made me realize how special they were. A friend played the two demos (as well as the Perkins Palace bootleg) during a poker game in December ‘89 and I had a soul-deep “Holy shit!” moment. Went and bought vinyl copies of “Lies” as well as the skull *and* original covers of “Appetite” for $3.99 each, new, at Fred Meyer.
“Estranged” in its concise, radio edit forms — found the promo CD with rubber-stamp titles at a garage sale for about $3.
“Better” in its original demo arrangement with the “I know you know you know better” line. Made me a zealot in favor of NuGNR.

It depends on the day I guess. I love the obvious ones like Jungle and SCOM, Rocket Queen is killer but I find that to be two songs in one and I like the final 3 minutes infinitely better than the first half. It's So Easy is pure attitude. YCBM is what hooked me onto GnR. Coma is epic but you don't always wanna listen to it. dead Horse to me is their most classic rock sounding song. Nightrain would probably be the one song I'd show to a newbie who had never listened to them before. Civil war is so badass. If I had to choose though with a gun to my head it would probably be SCOM, but in all honesty November Rain is their crowning achievement. Honestly I don't know. How do you pick just one?

SCOM is their crowning achievement…perfect in all ways…5 dudes nailing their assignments…same with WTTJ but I like sappy love songs!

I would listen to the argument that SCOM is their crowning achievement, mostly because it's the greatest guitar solo ever in my opinion.
