Thank god it's outside the perimeter. Looking for more info, but I doubt they'd be able to maneuver a vehicle that close to a gate so hopefully it was just a small bomb and not a VBIED.

DoD is confirming a suicide bomber and reports of at least 3 US Serviceman being casualties are coming out.

Two explosions reported. Reports of US service members caught in the blasts and British citizens who still haven't managed to get into the airport.

I can't imagine how awful and terrifying it's been guarding that airport knowing this was coming. Every video I've seen of the soldiers you could see it in their faces. Terrible. Heard children were also killed including an infant.
