One issue is the fact that they literally have no experience doing this. Everyone is flying blind.
You're right....there should've been some movement....but they may take the route of just dropping it and letting the media and fans stir up the hornet's nest.
That happens with some artists in today's musical landscape.

I said it for years and now that it's on the verge of actually happening I'll say it again...
A CD II release with the 2009-14 lineup would've been a disaster of epic proportions.
The fate of CD rotting in dollar stores nationwide is just a taste of what the sequel would have endured.
That remix CD concept was dead on arrival as well.
It sucked not getting it until now....but it was for the best.
He was smart to hold on to it and save it for a cold November rainy day.

Seriously though i get why the rio3 version with the synth wasn't for everyone but these guitars rock hard. It's a really cool little rocker IMO. Love the little bend fortus does coming out of the solo around 1.38 and slash's solos are cool too.
