Lol.  Very uninformed post.

In what way?

Well, it lacks any context.  Is it factually true?  Probably (I don't care enough to fact check it).  Why did those things happen?  100% because of Republican policies?  Come on man, be smarter than that.  Housing bubble, .com bubble, 9/11, coronavirus overreaction, etc.  Things happen...nothing happens in a vacuum.  I noticed you left out after 2016 2 years later record low unemployment and record high stock market.

You're just cherry picking things so you can lie with numbers.  Anyone can lie with numbers.  You're not even making an effort to be genuine; you're nothing more than a partisan shill.

Now you're lacking context. Unemployment had been trending down since 2010ish, and the stock market was rising since 2011, in fact first hitting a new record high in 2013.  So unemployment had been trending downward, and the market had been trending upward.

I hate the republican 'Except For Coronavirus' excuse. Trump massively misplayed and poorly handled this pandemic. It was known on Jan 1, Front Page of USA Today when Kobe died (Jan 21) yet he continuously called it a hoax even into early March. He also held a Trump re-election rally June 20 and complimented Georgia for reopening in April.

You guys are all pathetic. This tit for tat shit is infantile. You've all made this thread impossible to read.

Is there really anything new to say in the Trump era?

Is it really like there’s been any honest debate going on? Does anyone care about issues?

No...I’m not going to be fooled by someone posing as some sort of researcher or philosopher right now.

We’re spending infinite money to build a wall on the border while roads and schools decay and unemployment soars. Republicans are using this as a way to finally end social security and Medicaid...

It’s pure, unadulterated selfishness and short sightedness. A growing population of people who look forward to their parents death. There is an aimless destruction going on and it has nothing to do with the pandemic.

There is nothing united about this country. It’s eat or be eaten.

Every once in a while you show signs of starting to understand,  but you always turn back into mitch.  It's all the Republicans' fault...this country would be great if we could just get rid of them roll .  Like usual you get it half right.

My point in the last few posts is that we're seeing major and fundamental changes to society that are taking place that seem to benefit the same rich people. Trump's EOs are a joke and hypocrisy at its finest.

If Republican ideas are so great why do they keep winning the presidency without the popular vote? Why do they behave like they have these enormous mandates when their victories come from the contrived electoral college? Why are these tactics being normalized? Why don't people like you care about this stuff but can do a deep dive on CDC data on coronavirus data and do 30 posts about it?

You're missing the big picture stuff again...yes shit happens...things change and we have to adapt.

But like Reagan's great economy...it was propped up by massive tax cuts, massive deficit spending, and artificially low interest rates. It's smoke and mirrors...then the thing pops and people say....'why?'

They say why when the whole thing was designed to pop.

Then get out the 'government spends to much' people. The austerity folks who've got nothing to say when their precious Trump or Reagan rack of deficits. Then they blame the new president for all the problems their short sighted policies were intended to and predictably create.

Republican policies on the economy are irresponsponbile and leaves most folks in this country holding the bag.

OK, let's all hit the RESET button and start ahead with a clean slate. No past posts, refences, faults or whatever. Clean slate, we all get a fresh start.  We've constantly been fixating ourselves in the past.

Mitch, you're such an idiot.  This is why NOBODY can have a conversation with you unless they agree with you 100%.  I've NEVER said Republicans have all the great ideas or anything like that.  You know why?  Because they don't.  Neither do the Democrats.  They both have good ideas and they both have terrible ideas.  When they used to work together, stuff got done.  When they stopped working together politics became a shithole.  If you endorse either side of the shithole as 100% good, you're a stupid fuck.

You don't even understand the Electoral College and why it exists.  Seriously.  Educate yourself and come back.  It will take you years to catch up, but at least you can add something to the discussion.

I'm not trying to provide context; I'm pointing out you included none.  If I didn't care enough to validate your numbers, do you think I care enough to explain why your post lacks context?  Figure it out.

Nope.  That ship has sailed.  Mitch is a fuck and he is going to continue to get what he deserves until they ban me, ban him, or close this thread.  Mitch claimed he would play nice when he was allowed back and that didn't last a week.
