because axl and fernando banned rick 4 life from seeing guns n roses live and from ever being near the band or any fans in person ever again. thanks axl. thanks fernando. you nailed it. you guys really nailed it. baby's gotta locomotive and it's gone off the tracks and you gotta peel axl and fernando off loyal longtime gnr fan rick's back.

Rick played a central part in multiple cds worth of un released tracks leaking from one of the most expensive albums off all time, including tracks that will probably be on the next album (if there is one). He then posted about it on the biggest Guns N' Roses forum and on social under his real name to get attention. Suggesting he'd spread them, then they spread. He buys a VIP pass to their concert with his name on a tag, soon after expecting to meet the band.
Sorry guys, but get fuckin' real if your really think ole Rick was hard done by. He should be grateful he's not facing legal action, never mind expecting gratitude.
We can all be grateful for the leaks, but don't expect the band to be.

I was going to post pretty much all this exact stuff. We might like it, and appreciate his efforts, but why would the band? He's lucky he's not facing monetary damages in the form of a lawsuit.
For all we know, Axl, Slash and Duff had planned to release this music in some way for their reunion album, and now we've heard it all. Could be the CD saga all over.

They're not hurting the fanbase. As a fan, I'm delighted these tracks have leaked. But Axl is probably livid. He's a perfectionist, he doesn't want his work circulated in an incomplete form, and he could make a pretty good case that leaks of Buckethead-era tracks that might be under consideration for a new album would negatively impact on that album's sales. He's banning someone he sees - not unreasonably - as a thief. Is he supposed to greet the guy with open arms?
