It's amazing Tommy hated Bucket so badly, his bass is killer on this track.

It could definitely be on a bucket album.

Yes but Tommy walked that back in that 2009 interview where he said the project went off the rails after he left.

My favorite *new* (ahem) song by far.  Too BH to be on a GnR album. No wonder they didn’t use it.

That WAS the GN'R sound at that time.

The movie. Bucket is a horror movie fanatic.

Makes sense, yeah.

@this take: do we know it's Tommy on bass? Could be a purely Bucket/Brain demo, could it not?

It's on one zuzats discs with the better demos. It'd be a pretty unlikely outlier if it was just a bucket/brain thing.

Not saying it wasn't done on GN'R recording time. But if Bucket's studio presence was separate from Tommy's and/or everyone else's...

Wow, this one is awesome!! Kinda doubt it being The General though. the cellphone clip a few years ago sounded very different.

But imagine this monster here with an Axl on fire-vocals...

I highly, highly doubt this has anything to do with The General. Tempo is 120 vs 66.5. Key - at least for the riff parts - is C# minor. The G, if memory serves, is for the most part D major (don't quote me). GNR isn't afraid of changing keys during songs, but those two factors combined should be pretty good indicators that they aren't one in the same.

Sounds just like the bass on Shackler's and Scraped. If you heard the Rockband takes there's no doubt. Only other person it could be is Pittman.
