I'm sure there are some crazy stories of how some of these leaks were obtained from hoarders. Perhaps a story along the lines of Walter Sobchak in the big Lebowski, where his plan was to fill the ransom bag with pairs of underwear rather than actual money LOL.

It's much more boring. The initial ones luck out by finding stuff (swiping a cd that Axl leaves behind at a strip club for example, or happening to have a friend who works at a record label) and others just buy in.

Can't believe that for my 30th birthday in Feb 2006 my and the wife went on a road trip holiday, and listened to nothing but the leaks from back then........now hear I am 13 yrs later, still checking on forums on grabbing the leaks when they drop.....
That's funny, I was on vacation too that week (Tahoe skiing/boarding). It was before smart phones, & I don't think I brought a laptop. So I really didn't even know until about 3 or 4 days after it happened. Suddenly these songs were out, it was everything essentially. Couldn't believe it.
I was pretty active on the boards prior, but yeah can't believe 13-14 years later, here I am. I remember when UYI came out hearing the song 14 Years & it sounded like an entire lifetime.

He did not get the new thing he wanted so we don't get it either.Trading has to start all over again so forget soon.
Story kinda explained by MSL....not sure if I tell it like he did but bottom line is the same:
We have to wait a bit longer....nobody knows how long.
