Yeah, it is. At least partly because it is likely never going to be released. Atlas Shrugged, Soul Monster, Thyme... anything from the Chinese Democracy sessions is at least a candidate for being re-recorded with Slash and Duff. It's a possibility we'll hear them in some form down the line.
But the AFD re-record, with the 1999-era band that had already been supplanted by the Buckethead-era band when CD was still in the process of being recorded? That's going to be locked in Axl's vault until the end of time. With Slash and Duff back, there's no incentive for the band to ever release it, even as a curio. And going by the SCOM re-record it had a (then) contemporary polish and Axl's vocals were on beast mode. So yeah, I'm intrigued to hear it.

I can understand it from a curiousity POV. I think its probably not all that spectacular, and sometging ppl would only listen to once.

When i checked last night the links didnt work, said file deleted.
Did u hear them at all?
Yea, i downloaded them. The 3 second clip was well, 3 seconds. and the nitl tour is just scom being played. I'll be happy to send them to you if you want them.

Wasnt there also this 15s Checkmate clip - which was just the imsorry remixed version of the original? I would like that too.
