1. He said Roger Stone was in touch with Trump re; Russians having the DNC hacked emails. That isn't 'knowledge' of collusion?
2. He wrote a check in 2017 for hush money to a porn star he banged that he hid to win the election. Yeah, who cares, but it is a crime AND he stated on Air Force One he didn't know anything about it (also not a crime, but the optics of it are horrible)
3. Dems likely gained traction in regards to obtaining tax returns.

1.) Stone talking to Wikileaks isn't collusion.  I don't know how you can argue it is.  But we know one candidate paid for bad intel (assuming you believe Cohen) from Russia, and not a peep.  By all means, if you can make an argument for any crime Roger Stone committed by talking to Julian Assanage, say it.  Don't hide behind innuendo.  Spell it out.

2.) It's not a crime.  For it to be a crime, you'd have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt Trump only paid off the whores to win the election.  Not to say protect his brand or protect his wife.  John Edwards was tried for this very thing in 2008 after he took 1 million dollars from donors to pay off his mistress and bastard.  And the case was dismissed outright for the aforementioned reasons.  Quit quoting pundits and explain how this was a crime.  And even if it was, Obama was found guilty of campaign finance violations in 2008 and paid a fine for a much larger amount.  It ain't a crime.

3.) Who cares.  Trump can claim executive privilege, but getting his tax returns has dick to do with this.

Trump spent the day with Kim Jung Un and the media and folks like you are fixated on a circus that debunked all of your claims for the past 2 years.  But hey, Cohen called him a racists and a bunch of bad names.

Vote to impeach.  Mueller's report is coming.  Every day the truther  crowd is given a platform, the more it becomes clear to ordinary Americans the whole Russian collusion thing was in fact, a witch hunt.

4. He also heavily implied the Trump family knew about alot of the Russia thing.
5. Sure, he didn't supply evidence, but Mueller might. And Cohen may have only brought up topics in which he knew Mueller had the evidence.

Trump was implicated in many felonies today. But in regards to Russia, he was in contact with wikileaks via Roger Stone (as you said) and knowing about the DNC email dump ahead of time. Cohen also said he (Trump) knew about the Trump Tower meetings with the Russians and lied about that. He also directed Cohen to lie to Congress and the American people about any contact with Russia in regards to Trump Towers in Russia. Cohen also couldn't answer other questions, because Trump is now under investigation by the state of NY and Cohen is a witness in that process as well. There are more criminal conspiracies under investigation right now and probably will be for years.

What the liars want is "concrete evidence" (which they'd never accept anyway) of collusion or a conspiracy, which will never happen obviously. This isn't a marvel comic movie. People don't sit around a table, draw up plans and conspire. The evidence is provided by things like we saw today and a conclusion is drawn from a series of events. These are the same assholes that demanded we "prove" Saddam didn't have WMD and then lied later and said he did anyway. No amount of proof is enough, no matter how obvious it is.

This is what we saw today as a country. Mueller has known for many months, and we also have two days of closed testimonies to our representatives where more sensitive information will be divulged.

You're either with the traitor or you're not. Republicans decided to die on the hill today for Trump, while the whole world watched in awe.

Wtf is wrong with you? You hold everyone on this board to a higher standard than the president and the republicans.

It’s amazing what you’ll selectively turn a blind eye too.

What’s the point of all this without denuclearization?

RF told us that Trump was single handedly denuclearizing NK. They aren’t shooting any nukes but they are refining and developing them.

I’m sure they’d never use them though.

Re: US Politics Thread

I just love that Cohen debunked virtually every part of the Steele dossier. And the 9/11 truther won’t give it up. Every conspiracy, every breaking story has been debunked.

So now the true nut jobs, the people that literally posted infowars articles 14 years ago, has now moved on to ignoring all that, and conjuring up new conspiracies that are just as removed from reality.

I mean, fuck Michael Cohen, but if I had spent the past 2 years posting every article I find, be proven wrong time and time again,  then put all my hopes on the disgraced lawyer trying to build a PR campaign to sell a book after Cohen gets out of prison, and had him on national TV debunk all my conspiracies, I’d be off the rails. I’d be irate. I’d be embarrassed and ashamed. But crazy people are going to crazy.

I’d probably shut the fuck up and go into hiding and giggle at my own farts.

I just feel bad for the normal people like PaSnow who bought into this nonsense. And were oblivious to the effort to manufacture allegations to find anything, any way to distort the truth or law to find something.

But what do I know. I was never a 9/11 truther, a birther, a Benghazi nut, or Russian truther. I never shared Alex Jones articles. I didn’t force half the posters to disappear because I’m an annoying, unintelligent child who shit posts to get attention.

I’m just a normal guy who realizes Trump is a lousy human being and voted for Clinton. But despite that, he’s the legitimately elected President and the GOP handlers have guided Trump’s chaos in a direction I largely agree with and don’t get off to screaming the sky is falling.

Heck, RF was already putting to print tomorrows newspaper with the headline "Trump Saves The Planet"

So, basically, we are at the same stalemate with North Korea that we always have been. Except now, we sit at the table and legitimize them. North Korea gets far more out of this than the U.S. And now, other countries will think they can pursue a nuclear program and we'll look the other way.

If that's what's really going on with this summit, then it's just another Trump photo op.

Seriously, what’s the alternative?  Military action?  You want to nuke NK?  Engage China?

Do you care that KJU is a horrible dictator?  If Kim quits launching missiles, and we have a plan to monitor the prohibition of nukes, isn’t that ideal?

If having a conversation ends the Korean War and opens up the door to NK opening up like China was in the 70s, why is this bad?

What’s the alternative. I’m asking?  Obama didn’t “legitimize” him and the end result was a nuclear NK with ICBMs. Great statesmanship.

I have no idea what will happen. I’m not praising Abe for nominating Trump for the Nobel. I’m just saying how is our current relationship with NK objectively better today than at anytime since 1950?

Do we really want a country that ignores wrong doing in the name of ‘business’?

The Republican Party appears to be swarming with slimy business men, thugs and bullies. They want to deregulate everything so they can use any means necessary to succeed.

It’s all self serving and the average Joe is left fighting over scraps. Why doe the average Joe see inspiration in this behavior? This is the core of the nationalism trump talks about.
