Re: US Politics Thread
Everyone should watch CNN’s Jake Tapper interview with Avenatti. He utterly destroys him. Avenatti’s client is only claiming Kavanaugh was “present” at the party when she was raped. He won’t state that Kavanaugh participated in the rape, or explain what “present” means, with specific examples given of what “present” would constitute that would indemnify Kavanaugh. He then asked to ignore the rape claim, and just focus on the party allegations his client makes against Kavanaugh.
I’ll link it when it hits YouTube shortly. If you watch that interview, and think this latest attack is anything but sleazy, character assasination by making hoorendous allegations you know to be false, let me know. I’m not interested in engaging with someone so stupid or devious that Avenatti and his client’s behavior can be justified, let alone taken seriously. Tapper asked him why they haven’t gone to the police since no statute of limitations exist. Creepy Porn Lawyer wouldn’t even commit to taking these charges to law enforcement, where they could ultimately be charged for falsification.

If only you felt this strongly about trumps lies and terrible behavior, then I might give a shit.
Re: US Politics Thread
Trumps having a presser.
I'm all for invoking the 25th Ammendment, but after its done I say Trump just gives live press conferences for 18 hours a day on live TV. He's truly just a mess but loves to keep on going.
Even on mute he looks like a complete douche.

I really hope he’s not going to try to blame China for any Republican losses in November. That’d be very sleazy and wrong.

Re: US Politics Thread
Avenatti client is falling apart pretty quickly....
MSNBC just ran with a story based on a letter sent that had no name, not date, no return address.
They have no shame. Just heard that on Maddow. How the fuck can you even report that shit. It’s like me sending a letter to them saying Dianne Feinstein raped me and don’t offer any evidence.
