Dan Ryckert is a video game reviewer, has been since the mid 2000s, also a self proclaimed GNR ultra fan. he went to E3 2008 hoping to find info on guns n roses and managed to get an off the record conversation recorded with this former harmonix employee (who was fired shortly after this video). it wasnt a "ruse"

Yup, Brodie. Wouldn't surprise me that he found that artwork and included it. He's a visual kind of guy.
I used to talk to him all the time (about things not GNR related too) and then we got disconnected. Miss him.

Fragments of the essays for the VMA 2002 have just filtered. The first belonged to "Welcome To The Jungle" and the second to "Paradise City".

It's 44 seconds of the rehearsal video, but there's a weird black rectangle covering the lower left part of the screen and big "GNRSUD" watermarks over the footage.
What is Axl saying during "Paradise City"? It sounds like, "Let's just say it's a whole different type of badness." Is that right? If so, I'm guessing there was some kind of audio issue he was commenting on.

cool to see how much of an anti-fuck axl gives in this. he was probably forced to rehearse and spent the whole time pouting, half-assing the songs.
then he got on stage at the actual award show and karma struck.
it's unreal that there's a human being on planet earth who is trying to charge 10k for this dumpster fire.
