They're actually pro socialist fascism; and they're pretty violent. They put a liberal female professor in the hospital not too long ago because she had the audacity of debating a conservative speaker when they demanded no conservatives be able to speak ever on campus.

You should really look into a group before supporting them.

Can you link that story?  I missed that

This thread has become an echo chamber except for me.

Fair enough to an extent.  But is that because for months this forum became a platform for a bonafide and unapologetic 9/11 Truther to spread continued lies and conspiracies about Trump colluding with Putin, which were proven wrong time and time again.  Besides the truther, the only one who kept peddling that conspiracy was PASnow.  Cool dude, but never wanted to go deep into the issue.  I hope he comes back once Mueller wraps it up in the next couple months, as he offered a unique view.

You're capable of making an informed and intelligent post, but you're the only one left who is happy to just shit post nonsense.  We get the occasional rando who makes an appearance with a one sentence post to quickly disappear when challenged, and I'm ok with that.  If you can't defend your position, maybe it isn't worth defending.

I'd love to have this part of the forum full of posters again.  But people that haven't researched their position quickly run out of material when the discussion moves away from America's gun laws.  I'd much rather see several people have an informed discussion than see this part of the forum turn into the GN'R section which is mostly comprised of fan boys arguing over whether Slash, Axl or DJ has the biggest dick.  No thanks.

If you want to talk about abortion or some other social issue, have at it.  I'm sure you'll find this isn't the echo chamber you think it is or maybe you'll become part of the echo chamber on that issue.  No one disagrees with you that Trump is an asshole.  You're just not going to find a lot of people who think Trump is starting the 4th Reich or that detaining illegal immigrants and putting them in air conditioned tents is anyway comparable to the holocaust.  And if you make those claims, some of the posters are going to ask for a little more nuance than "fuck trump" in your argument.

I'm criticizing anyone who assaults people legally exercising their free speech.  I'm criticizing a group that isn't attacking fascists or nazis, but anyone they disagree with.  Antifa isn't anti-fascist, they're anti free-speech and label anyone they dislike as a Nazi.  That's not only intellectually dishonest, it's the same exact tactic and method actual Nazis used to silence and oppress their political opponents.

Is this not how trump behaves? I want a president that i feel doesn’t view me as the enemy. That would be a huge help!!

My president attacks me and my people everyday....why shouldn’t i be hostile?

Trump isn't preventing anyone from speaking out against him or expressing a different viewpoint by physically assaulting them or sending death threats.  That doesn't mean I think his behavior, his attacks on the media, or the chants of "lock her up" are in any way acceptable or becoming of the President.  But he's the rightfully elected leader and was done so in part, because of his behavior.  He's not in violation of the law.  Antifa is.

My president has an obligation to me...antifa doesn’t.

Trump does attempt to prevent people from speaking out against him.

I’m thoroughly convinced that if given the power to do so...he would.
