Re: Chester Bennington Commits Suicide
Yeah, he had a bit of the Scott Weiland style as well as a bigger vocal range. Could've been quite interesting. I thought I read something about him actually being a contender to front VR, but Linkin Park took up too much of his time for that to happen.
Regardless, it's a damn shame he's gone. 41 is so young, and the guy was so talented. From what his LP band mates said, he took Cornell's death quite badly as well.
Goes to show you, even the ones you think have everything, can succumb to depression as well.

Re: Chester Bennington Commits Suicide
Was messing around with my iTunes library for the first time in many months. Stumbled on the first two Linkin Park albums. Bennington was a hell of a talent. I hope they are not going to try to replace him. Some people cannot be replaced and I think that is true with Chester and this band.
RIP to Chester and I pray for peace for his family/friends.

God fucking damn it I wish he'd stepped in as frontman for Velvet Revolver. Also I would cheerfully chew my own arm off for a full recording of this.

Holy Jesus, imagine if they'd taken this band on the road:
(shitty sound quality, soz)
