The company just announced that all of their 200,000 employees will get a $1,000 bonus because of the benefits of the new tax bill. Bonus to be paid at Christmas.

This can't be true. Pelosi told us this tax bill was Armageddon. It doesn't matter that 80% of people will pay less and that people making less than 50k a year will on average pay 20% less. We dropped the business tax rate, so it must be evil. I refuse to believe that Democratic leaders are fear mongering. What about the guy who makes 75k a year living in NYC with a wife and 2 kids who itemizes and saves every receipt. He's going to have to pay $200 more a year, so this is horrible

Nah, don't play stupid, they could have done it beforehand. They didn't. It's a drop in the bucket. Plus, they gots to grease some GOP rods to get that monopoly through.

Yes we know there are hidden motives but I don’t mind it. The employees get something and AT&T looks good even if their motives are disingenuous.
So far AT&T and Boeing have made announcements today. Who is next?

They could have done it before. They didn't need an incentive. It was literally a drop in the bucket. It's bullshit. How about increasing salaries?
