Re: The NHL 2007-08 Season Thread
A lot of ex-Sabres int he playoffs - hard to watch sometimes. 4 players int he playoffs have worn the 'C' for Buffalo, and 3 were legitimate captains. Stu Barnes, Danny Briere, Chris Drury. Campbell wore the C but not for long.
Wayne Primeau, Cory Sarich, Curtis Brown, Mike Grier, Dominik Hasek, Martin Biron, JP Dumont (eliminated), Zubrus (I don't count him), Conklin (I don't count him either)... I do like Curtis Brown a lot though.

Re: The NHL 2007-08 Season Thread
I'm a little pissed that both CBC and Versus showed the Montreal game. I undertsand starting with it, but Versus should've switched over to the Washington game once it got to be a kill in Montreal, and the Washington game was still up in the air (3rd period).
Oh well, congrats to Habs fans although I bid you no luck, and go Caps go!
Re: The NHL 2007-08 Season Thread
At least the Habs finally got rid of the Bruins. And, no doubt, I'm a huge Washington supporter (Ovechkin's my favourite player since he came to the league), but I want Philly to win the series because I think they'll be easier to beat than the Rangers. Don't call me a homer.
Re: The NHL 2007-08 Season Thread
end of round one tonight?
so hows it gonna go?
habs play either flyers or rangers
pens play either caps or rangers
wings plays either flames or avs
stars play either avs or sharks
i hope wsh can win...they are the cinderella team this year for sure, i dont think they can pull it off though
i'm torn in the flamse/sharks series...i'd like to see thorton win a cup, but i also like to see the canadian teams go a little way...though i think the flames would be tougher on detroit than the avs
