Re: Chris Cornell dead
52 is way too young, especially for an immense talent such as his. Was fortunate enough to see him with Soundgarden, Audioslave and solo acoustic not so long ago. And he was great every single time.
RIP Chris Cornell, I hope you, Kurt and Layne are all sitting around having a laugh at the good times

Re: Chris Cornell dead
It makes me so sad to think, nearly all the singers from that era, which was the soundtrack to my youth, are almost all gone... so damn sad

Re: Chris Cornell dead
Very sad news.
I was really only a causal soundgarden fan compared to the hardcores on here - but I was a big fan of his work in Audioslave and his solo stuff too.
Such a rare voice, so powerful, so much tone, such unique melodies and such a beautiful lyricist.
He gave so much to us.

Yeah, incredibly skilled singer no doubt. Try hitting any of those high notes from his SG years, makes you realize the talent there. Talented rocker, will be missed.
Ashame, Cornell, Cobain, Staley, all gone with so much talent. RIP
