Anyone hear about that, all female cast.
I can see it going either way. A good spin, to seperate it from the original franchise, as that ran its course plus salaries are too high for them anymore. Making it all female could work, but after the ghostbusters debacle it might tank. Cast seems alright

among others although just read on imdb the kardashians are in it. WTF unless they play themselves.
Directors from The Hunger Games, although that seems to be his only hit. He did Seabiscuit, I wasn't a fan. Wrote a few others, Dave, Big, Pleasantville. It's a year away, I'm curious to see it and would like it if it worked out great. Again I was a big fan of 11, 12 was bad & 13 ok.

Well, wasn't it only ghostbusters? Wonder Woman is a pretty smart idea financially. We've been inundated with comic book movies the last few year yet theres tons of comic book nerd girls out there. So the $$s just waiting to be paid. It'll do goo.
That said Oceans was a good concept. Only the salaries weren't there. Would be cool if they kept up with it as offshoots occasionally coming up with a flick with only Clooney or Pitt as a bit part running the show, and characters mix in & out. Sorta like Tarantino's alternate universe (Vega, Alabama). Otherwise tho, just blow it up & if you're gonna recast as a whole this could be a good concept. Might bomb tho. We'll see.

That is a great cast. I love Helena Bonham Carter and Cate Blanchett. Both talented in spades but they are the types where the majority of their films I'm not interested in...especially Blanchett.
THis isn't the greatest idea but I'll watch it for those two alone. Kardashians a massive turn off and I hope it bombs for that reason alone. Please God let them be minor roles.

I think I saw on IMDB she plays herself, supposedly. My guess is she's staying at the hotel/casino they rob. Or something like that. I wonder if she was cast before that robbery last year, myb she'll back out. I agree tho, it could do without her.

Saw it thru Redbox. It was just kindof bleh. Some of the characters ran together & didn't stand out, others were carbon copies of the main 11. It also lacked any welcoming charm & cuteness of the original, gone was the jazz bass interludes & funky 70s transitions. It had some sarcastic dialogue responses but they all just seemed scripted.
The heist was kinda dumb too, I didn't get why they just didn't have a different method. Give it about a 6/10, and I'm a fan of the originals. Storyline was a copy of 11 & heist job more like 12. I didn't even see the Karashians. Must've been in it a minute & I was on my phone or something, I finished it, but it didn't engage my interest throughout.
