No doubt we need a lot of fixing across the board, and it isn't going to be easy with the country as divisive as it is right now. I know most Americans say they hope Trump does well for the good of the country but there is a large amount who hope he falls flat on his face so they can say, "I told you so". And that's a sick way of thinking.

I was watching the Inauguration yesterday on Fox News but I had it on mute while I was on the phone. I swear I saw a young lady in one of the choirs not singing. And it didn't appear that she was waiting for her cue or anything like that because everyone around her was singing. The camera kept zooming in on her as if to make a point. The girl was blonde and had bright red lipstick. Yet I can't find any footage or comments about it anywhere. Did I misread the whole thing? Anyone else see what I think I saw?

I found both the Mormon Tabernacle Choir & Missouri State U & didn't see it in either. Would be an interesting catch tho. I did see the 1st dance and it seemed the singer botched the intro.  Had it mistimed & missed the intro & then almost started on the wrong bar. The band had to play like an entire minute of awkward 'My Way' with no vocals & just Donald & Melania dancing alone. Seemed strange.

Yeah I agree with you there, I think it was Thursday where I realized 'Welp, this is it. He's going to be President. No more talking about it".

One of 3 things will happen, and none of us know which it will be:

1. He'll be great.
2. He'll be terrible.
3. He'll be mediocre.

Yeah, I looked for it earlier and didn't see it, but I couldn't find the footage from Fox News. I thought they'd be talking all about her refusal to sing for Trump, I swear the camera panned to her multiple times and stayed on her far longer than anyone else. Again, it's possible I misread the whole thing because I had it on mute, but that's what it looked like to me.

More nut jobs the left refuses to allow laws to take action against. As Senator Al Franken said, "we don't want to demonize mental illness."

This is the party that thinks gender dysphoria is just a different lifestyle and wants to punish people for not using made up pronouns or pretending people can change their sex.

I think we need to bring back asylums and force sterilize nut jobs. But others prefer to have crazies walking the streets.

Edit - Watching it again, looks like she does sing at points, just not in unison with those around her. Guess it's a nonstory. Damn! Thought I was onto something. Maybe her heart wasn't totally into it, so she did the bare minimum?

I don't think anybody hopes he does, but I certainly expect him to. He's not fit for office, not even remotely. Words have consequences. China and NK have already told us directly and indirectly that they will not tolerate his bullshit. That was before he was even sworn in. His cabinet picks are abysmal and absolutely contrary to there purpose. His transition alone has been poorly executed. The notion that he will be some great leader is preposterous. He's an ass, he'll continue to act/talk like an ass and he's dangerous to the well being of this country.

Check out Betsy DeVos, a first class twit. A step above Palin, simply because she can string together somewhat coherent sentences.

Scott Pruitt for the EPA who doesn't believe in Climate Change and doesn't know that lead is bad for children

Genius Rick Perry for Dept of Energy...the previous guy had a PHD in theoretical physics.

These picks alone speak volumes...

That's about all you talk about. Claims of hatred, anger, greed. But mostly your own anger that the Clinton machine was destroyed and the Democratic Party Balkanized and at each other's throats.  Suck it up buttercup, we got 4 years to go and no one wants to listen to you guys on the rag.

And he still lost the popular vote and had to have help from Russia, Assange, Wikileaks and Comey! He sure showed her!
