Re: so whats next for the democrats?
The Pennsylvania primary is in a few days. Its huge. Major implications. There are a few primaries after PA, but its the big enchilada. If one of them loses the state by a large margin, I think they should drop out.
If its close(as expected), the nomination process will likely stay in limbo until the convention, which in my opinion will be a disaster.
Re: so whats next for the democrats?
Alot depends on PA. Supposedly Obama is leading large in one of the next states (N Carolina) so Hillary needs to win big in PA. The votes on Tuesday. I went down to see Obama Friday night. It was pretty cool event. His speech was a little bit more of the same, but in todays newspaper it stated during the 1960 debate they were asked what a President needs most, Nixon responded "Experience" JFK answered "A sense of history". It went on to talk about learning from history, the past etc (not starting a war with Iran). One can have experience, but that doesn't mean they'll be most effective. I admit I'm kinda crossing my fingers and hoping, but this countries so screwed it's gonna take some of that to turn it around within 4 years. Sure Washington isn't going to change drastically, but its' a start.
Here's some pics I took of the event, they estimated about 35,000 showed:
