I think we can put that myth to bed at this point. Sure he "created jobs" but he's a failure as a CEO, and the little guy suffers as a result, as did the shareholders. He's fantastic at branding, but that's it. Anybody who loses nearly 1 billion running a fucking casino isn't very good at business.

Yeah, I never got that. Like people claiming Romney got his wealth all on his own. Horse shit. He was born into a wealthy family (like Trump), which afforded him the best schools ( like Trump), the ability to dodge the draft (like Trump), gained connections through their fathers (like Trump), started out with well over a million dollars from their fathers as they ventured out into the world (like Trump) and had a family fortune to serve as a safety net when he failed (like Trump).

Trump was a good business man because he knew how to game the system, but let's be honest, his most successful line of business was creating the Trump name into a brand and licensing it. He was pretty terrible at a lot of his other businesses. And he treated his workers like shit. You see what he did in Dubai:

Hillary grew up in the suburbs and her father was a small business owner. Nowhere near the same.

You guys say he's a bad businessman, but based on what?  How many businesses has he managed?  How many have failed?  What is the average success rate?

If you know the answers to these, then maybe you can make a case he's a poor manager/CEO. But taking a million and turning it into billions is quite a feat. I'll ask again, how many people here think they could take a dollar and turn it into $1000?  $100?

Finances and taxes are definitely not my strong suit, but didn't someone in this very thread explain that Trump didn't lose a billion. How many billions did Gates or Jobs lose? It just seems like an arbitrary statement meant to imply something that's not qualified.

How many people died under the Clinton's compared to Trump?  It's a bullshit question meant to imply neither are capable leaders while the obvious retort is to ask if Trump was in a similar position. How many Americans die on average under a President? What caused them?  Reciting a bullshit talking point without context and qualification means nothing.

I still think Clinton will win, though not by the numbers you've often claimed. It looks like the GOP will hold the senate, so here's hoping Clinton doesn't follow in Obama's footsteps and actually works with the GOP to get real and important legislation passed.  Otherwise the GOP will run a competent populist in 2020 and her legacy will be as appealing as Obama's will be.

I can't say he's a bad business man, but he's no Svengali. He had the backing of a wealthy family and safety net. He went from real estate to casinos, which was smart but he has also crashed and burned and, in some instances, operated like a con man in gaming bankruptcy laws and tax codes. But he's still successful. I give him credit for that and don't begrudge him for being rich. But he's not a great job creator and though he's rich, that does not translate in understanding policy. He tried to squirm out of being a policy maker and be president in name only, shifting all presidential responsibility to his VP, which is probably why Pence agreed to run with him. That blows my mind.

Vince McMahon is a rich guy, he turned the WWF into a billion dollar business. Outside of that, every endeavor he's persuade has been an epic, catastrophic disaster. From WBF to XFL and everything outside of wrestling. Because he's good at the wrestling business would not make him a genius at job creation, or anything else, and definitely would not make him a great president. The success/failures say he's a great business man in a particular kind of business. Jobs failed, but rebounded to even greater heights, that's genius. Trump survived disasters, but never rebounded from his failures. He found another avenue to make money : himself.

They say if Trump just invested his money in the stock market (Dow Jones Average), and let it sit there, he would have ended up with the same amount of money as he has. So he isn't exactly some wheelin & dealin genius investor. He just had alot of money, invested alot of money, and those investments returned alot of money.

Randall Flagg gimmie $400K to invest in an up & coming neighborhood in Brooklyn, and in 30 years I'll show you a profit.

You're incorrect (in regards to her upbringing), but aside from that you seem to think we find fault in being wealthy...that's not the point. Not even close. I guess you could also point out that they all three had fathers while you were at it.

I think she actually grew up Republican, until she met Bill in college.

One big difference.

Hillary got rich and created nothing.

Trump got rich because he took chance and built things.

To the common man, it appears Trump "worked" harder and Hillary got rich from private interests, like Wall Street, etc.
