Re: Fred Durst......
He looks 100% better, especially with the naturally gray beard and now that he's stopped trying to hide the fact that he's obviously lost his hair. I'll never get the intense, and I mean INTENSE, vitriolic hatred I see directed towards this guy. One minute the media and MTV helped to elevate and stroke his ego to monumental proportions, then disowned him as a prick and laughed as he dropped off the face of the earth. The sad thing is, Limp Bizkit actually made some catchy music, Durst always seemed likeable enough to me. As I said before, who wouldn't get a big head the way TRL paraded him around as his generation's fucking Jim Morrison. I'd like to see him concentrate more on directing, his videos were never half bad, especially his clip for Deadsy's "The Key to Gramercy Park."

The hatred comes from how he handled his celebrity status. Yeah the media built him up, but he took the hype way too seriously. When the LB, Korn, etc. fad started to fade, he was the easiest target.

Re: Fred Durst......
Because he was nothing special, and helped usher in the era where singers in hard rock don't need to sing. The line between rap and metal blurred with him and he did neither particularly well. It was such... surface hard rock.
I detest him because Wes Borland was the talent behind LB, and he got no attention in the mainstream.
