Neither party will ever let anyone strong get to the national stage, only puppets. The problem they ran into this time is that they didn't anticipate the upswell in people on the Republican side (and to a lesser extent the Democrats) who are sick of the establishment. Trump is an egotistical idiot and Clinton is a self-centered pathological liar. In a perfect world, neither would even be running, but this is what we have. The only thing that could be worse is if Trump rigged this whole thing to make sure Clinton got elected...unless that finally leads to the destruction of the two party system.
I'm moving closer and closer to supporting and ultimately voting for Gary Johnson. He actually seems to be gaining some steam and it may not be a wasted vote as it would have been a few months ago. They need to get him into the debates (and he's very close). I think he'll rip them both to shreds.

you know how the left wants to always accuse of the right of being racist, religious bigots? If these leaked emails have proven anything, it's how the DNC is still the party it was through the 19th and 20th century. They still view people of color as objects to be controlled. How many of you are still going to support the DNC when your head has been forcibly removed from the sand?

I'm moving closer and closer to supporting and ultimately voting for Gary Johnson. He actually seems to be gaining some steam and it may not be a wasted vote as it would have been a few months ago. They need to get him into the debates (and he's very close). I think he'll rip them both to shreds.
Here's a fun election scenario that has about a .01% chance of happening (Maine and Nebraska allocate some electoral votes by district).
Hillary and Trump both don't reach 270 delegates.
The election goes to the House of Representatives to decide.
The House, being Republican and generally not fond of Trump, votes for Johnson.
The end.

Johnson would need to get electoral votes to be able to be voted on. The House gets to vote on the President among the 3 highest candidates with electoral votes. Since no state provides proportional votes and it's unlikely Johnson would win to get the single vote in Nebraska or Maine since those districts would certainly vote in favor of Trump or Clinton, there is no way Johnson wins the white house under this scenario. Not to mention it would be a civil war if the house did so. Though I would enjoy the popcorn if they did.

Can I blame someone for helping Hillary, a lifetime democrat, to defeat a guy who was not a democrat, never was a Democrat, who tried to hijack the party, push it into a socialist party, and only wanted it for it's power structure and money, and would have been clobbered by Trump, a phony, silver spoon fed con man, with no spine or integrity and is by far the worst candidate in American history? I can't say I blame them.

Yep... We need a 3rd party that is treated as an equal and have a run off between the top 2 so nobody can say that one party stole votes from another.
