and as far as the 6 to 1, do you think she would have gone to that house if she knew they were expecting here. i doubt it. maybe she did which makes her a little stupid too.

Well, maybe she didn't know how pissed they really were about what she was saying. Or maybe she thought all her tough talk worked and the group of morons wanted to make peace. Its hard to tell. We'll probably never know the whole truth. Too many sides to the story.

The beating was obviously way too extreme. One of the girls probably should have just slapped her once or twice in front of the group to get their point across. Then just let her leave. That would have likely solved it right there. I doubt the chick would have opened her mouth about the group again.

Now lives have been ruined, the victim and the accused.

Dr. Phil -- Screwed from the Bottom

Posted Apr 13th 2008 8:10PM by TMZ Staff

TMZ has learned Dr. Phil's legal document wielding, cash-carrying, tough guy was not a supervising producer on the show. He was not an assistant producer. He was not a producer. He was not even close to being a producer. He was a production assistant. Think intern with a paycheck.
Here's the way it all went down: The good Doc's executive staff sent a seasoned producer down to Florida, along with a P.A. to chase the story of 8 teens who allegedly beat a classmate on tape. We're told the folks back home were horrified when they saw Mr. Large-and-In-Charge putting the smack down on local reporters after springing 17-year-old Mercades Nichols from the pokey. We're told execs on the show were pissed that the experienced producer allowed the P.A. to be in a position to embarrass the show in front of the cameras.

The bigger question -- who hatched the plan to pay the bail for the woman accused of kidnapping and videotaping the brutal beating? The show issued a statement saying certain staff members "went beyond their guidelines," but the buzz on the Paramount lot is that it would be impossible for the producer to pay the $3,300 for the bail and put up $33,000 in collateral without the full knowledge and approval of higher-ups on the show.

The plan could have been pulled off, but after the P.A. mouthed off publicly, Phil's battleship was sunk somewhere off the Florida coast.

We contacted Phil's people an hour ago, who responded by saying they "have no additional comment."

What the fuck is this!!!   I hate Dr. Phil.  I am sure the entire show had something do with it.   How is it that a production assistant goes down to florida and happens to bail out one of them.  roll   Could it be he just decided to take 3,300 of his own money and collateral...maybe if he's crazy.

If the show did do this, this is just another example of rewarding bad, horrendous behavior.

Re: 8 teens charged in videotaped attack

Update.

I was watching Nancy Grace last night and 2 of these girls are on probation for a former offense.   We got to hear the 911 call and the mother that called in who is not the victims mother but a friend of hers mother and she said that these girls are toughies around the neighborhood and they tried to run her daughter off the road before.   These girls finally got what's coming to them  22  I just hope that some if not all get jail time.    They are expelled from school and the school board has to have a hearing to see if they can be let back in.  right on!!

The victim has permanent hearing loss in her left ear.   I haven't read or heard anything about the blindness in her left eye if that permanent or not.
