Re: The NHL 2007-08 Season Thread
I know I'm late with predictions but here's what I picked before they started:
East:
Montreal in 5(now I'm thinking 3, Boston will fold)
Pittsburgh in 6
Washington in 6
Rangers in 5
West:
Detroit in 5
San Jose in 6
Colorado in 6
Anahiem in 5
Looks as thogh I fucked up big tiem on the Ducks vs Stars series but we'll see. The Avalanche vs Wild series has been the best series by far up to this point.
GO HABS GO!!!:mosh:

Hasek and Biron playing great in the playoffs... and no Sabres.
I'm happy for Marty and Briere that they've played well, but I want to see the Caps win and they'll have to play much better than they did today.
EDIT: Jersey and Boston get big (important) wins. Can't count either one out.

Re: The NHL 2007-08 Season Thread
Another OT game for Minn-Col. Ottawa is basically done. Avery is a worthless jackass who could use a good shot to the knee. Nashville makes a crazy comeback and wins a game, which is cool.
And I might have to root for Calgary, considering the commitment of those fans and how CuJo played.
Re: The NHL 2007-08 Season Thread
bruins and sens are fucked....Sens may need to look at a bit of a rebuilding someones head is gonna roll in the off season
I hope the wings get their shit together tonight...and please god let the Devils and the Ducks be knocked out in round one
and the flames sucked a dick last night....10 shots? oh man
Re: The NHL 2007-08 Season Thread
devils are screwed now too....if they come back from 3-1 then i'd be shocked
sens are done....how much moves do you think they'll make? they said Redden was pretty much done on the TV tonight...i dunno why they;d get rid of him of all people... I think Emery and Gerber are both done there, Alfie may get the boot too
Re: The NHL 2007-08 Season Thread
Sens are screwed... I think their collapse from the top of the standings will go down as one of the worst cases in NHL history.
Redden is definitely done... he's unrestricted and likely will look for money elsewhere... the Sens have young defensemen like Meszaros and Volchenkov who can take the offensive D role... and he's taken a lot of heat for being repeatedly injured and not performing at expectations.
I don't think Emery will be back, but I'd be surprised if Gerber and Alfie are moved.

Re: The NHL 2007-08 Season Thread
Good riddance, Ottawa. Glad to see they won the same number of playoff games this year as the Sabres did.
Neemo - are you worried about Det-Nsh yet? The West is crazy.
