I don't see anyone shitting on it. Some love the idea, some don't. If you're referring to threadjacking with taking covers out, that's always happened....and always will until they take some out.

I could go for that since it supposedly started out as an idea for a Guns song. But I'd prefer "Messages" if I had to pick one. Great song that many people didn't get to hear or appreciate. It might actually get the respect it deserves. Doubt it will happen though.

Oh yeah.....Messages....the GNR song that never was. They should have saved that.

My two favorite songs from LIbertad(Messages and Psycho Killer) weren't even on the actual album.

Unless they're gonna do it right -- then don't bother. I'd love to hear Axl on Fall To Pieces, but with re-written Axl lyrics and making it a proper Guns song like it was originally supposed to be. But that wouldn't be much of a tribute to Scott and that's never going to happen.

There's so much going on and NOT going on with Guns right now, that i'd actually rather they bust out a new GN'R song, or a long-forgotton deep cut like You Ain't The First or Bad Apples or the alternative lyrics version of Don't Cry, before they do anything from Slash/Duff's post GN'R period.

There's also alot of really good covers they could do too.

I'd love to hear Axl/Slash or Axl/DC do this one in the future...

Axl was BORN to sing that song!

Actually 30 years to life would be the perfect song for Axl to sing on.
Slash's last album was full of GNR songs. The whole thing felt and sounded like a lost GNR demo.

I would burn an orphanage to the ground to hear Axl sing this song:

If Axl reworks them, Slither and Headspace. Those riffs are killer. Other than that I don't want to hear any non GN'R stuff.

For a GNR "reunion," I'd prefer they stick to GNR songs. Plenty of deep cuts could be added to the set. Frankly, VR was pretty underwhelming to me on all fronts.

If anything, I'd like to hear Anastasia from GNR.
