Why would he be in ATL? Lining up tour dates? Recording vocals? Visiting the new Braves Stadium? Visiting the Coca Cola factory? Visiting the College Football HOF? Visiting the cast of The Walking Dead? Driving over to Birmingham to get his Car Washed?

didn`t they rehearse with their full production in atlanta in some airspace hangar or something once? maybe i`m wrong on that one though...
They have some connection to Atlanta. I just can't remember what. I remember Slash telling a story about it at a solo show he played there.

looking ready to kick some ass if you ask me. don`t forget he`s 54 years old.
I know there's nothing worse than fans on message boards obsessing over Axl's appearance but: he looks a hell of a lot better than that other recent pic that was posted. Still think he should grow the 2006 beard back though – it makes his face look less round.

He looks reasonably fit, in fact. That should bode well with his vocals. The rest is semantics.
