By possibly having manufacturing jobs coming back to the US? That's bad for the average American?
Jesus Christ couldn't bring back manufacturing to the US, much less Trump (who manufactures his shit in China just like everybody else.)
Re: 2016 Presidential Election Thread
This thing is going to the convention. Not only that, but high level establishment Republicans are just starting to put together a plan to run....as a third party. I shit you not. They are exploring the idea of putting up a "True Conservative" to contest Trump.
Of course if Trump gets to the convention and they give it to Cruz (I don't think Kasich has a chance) you better believe that Trump is going to run third party. All hell will break loose, and his loyal supporters will stick with him.
As I suspected Rubio hung around to see if he could pull something out of Florida. Turns out they don't like him either. Adios Little Marco.
Hillary had a strong performance and gave a great speech tonight.
Re: 2016 Presidential Election Thread
If someone can look at Trump, listen to him, and not see a giant fraud with zero self control and a level of elementary temperament and vindictiveness, I don't think we'll ever be on the same page. I've seen his ugly side when he used to call into Stern all the time, and his petty jealousies and how far he would go to try and destroy nobodies who ruffled his ego was insane. That whole AJ Benza ordeal was absolutely the workings of an unstable mind who should not be the leader of anything.
The violence at his rallies has escalated to the point now, where I expect somebody to get shot before this is all over. He's a cheap con man at best and a true sociopath at worst. He uses the oldest trick in the book (IE, those people are the root of your/our problems: Mexicans, blacks, Muslims, liberals, China etc.) to get everybody riled up, and it works quite well.
He's pissed enough people off now, that if he gets the nod, he'll go on to get crushed in the General election. Trump's divisiveness is going to drive Latinos and blacks to the voting booths like never before. Wait and see.

I done it again, but this time I intentionally answered with the opposite of everything I believe in. Solely out of curiously.
I guess then I would have thought Thatcher was evil .

This is basic. China would retaliate with more tariffs, and companies would pass on the costs to everyone.

So Obamacare is good for the middle and lower classes? That's a big fat no. Higher premiums/higher deductibles. Great job.
If you're worried about taxes, I hope to God you're not voting in free for all Bernie.
Even if Obamacare isn't great, Trump's plan is worse. It just is. And the taxes alone would negate any gain his health plan could make, but it wouldn't make any gains anyhow.

So not only is the GOP stuck with Trump, but all the Senators up for re-election are going to have to say no a likely judge they have already voted "yes" for before.

Well, of course he is. Not possible to survive without it. Our company is forced to buy from China, but if we could buy locally we would of course do it. That's where government comes in. If you want to keep jobs in the country, they have to step in and take measures to make that happen. There's no way a western worker can compete with a sweat shop.
