David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer. While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family’s privacy during their time of grief.

His son, Duncan Jones (Director "Moon, Warcraft") recently tweeted to confirm reports. Originally people squashed it as a hox. Seriously as others have said before, "Fuck Cancer." Here are some of my favorites. Rest in Peace, Ziggy!

Wouldn't have been the biggest fan but like a fair few of his albums & songs. Seminal figure no doubt, big legacy. & yea that Blackstar vid was neat, taking on extra poignancy now..
Actually, Let's Dance came on the radio in the car last night & I got pissed off! I said something like, I hate that fucking song & I'd be happy never to hear it ever again!

The guy was a true legend and all time great.
Was thinking about Bowie a while back and his music, but didn't see this coming. I'm a bit sad.

Some of those 70s albums are absolute classics.
I've always loved that.
I was watching this a few days ago actually, just think that was the most riddoclous opening to a video ever.
The guy's a genius though.
I am a Guns N' Roses fan, but why couldn't I grown up with Bowie instead? I'm literally jealous of those who did.
