Izzy was not wanting to be contracted to appear, but will appear at some point during the year.

That's Izzy, alright.

Reckon he'll do it for the fun of it, rather than for money he can live without.
Big business obligations have never gone down too well with Mr Stradlin. 22

Except he charged Axl's management a huge appearance fee in 2006 and Axl was left in the dark so he could have fun without realizing Izzy was nailing him for big money.

I am back to work on Monday so I will not be posting as often.

Remember to keep an eye on The Roxy club. The radius clause in their contract will allow them to play the venue if the band are needing a small venue to practice

Well, Izzy should care because "nothing last forever" (in regards to money) and this may be his last opportunity at a really big payday.

Plus, let's be honest, this thing could implode after a few shows...don't kid yourself.

That is true, but tying only three people into a contract makes the tour less of a risk

Feel bad for Slash and Duff. This is gonna be a clusterfuck. But what the hell, they'll each get about $2m from Coachella if the thing doesn't implode.

They've bent over, made their decision. They know exactly what they're signing up for.
& like you say I'm sure all the cash rolling in will buy them some comfort for their hardship..

Tbh an implosion would fit the story.. But it would be boring & predictable. Better to have a surprise ending, a triumph!

Axl's proven he can do sustained touring over the last decade.

Regardless of your feelings on the quality he performed a shit load of shows from 09-14 and most of it was pretty drama free.

Add in Slash and Duff who are seasoned pros (who might just inspire Axl to a performance level Ron and Ashba couldn't) alongside Frank and Fortus who know exactly what their dealing with. Yes it might all blow up but there's plenty of reasons for optimism.

Just feel bad for them that this one of a kind talent is also a psychopath. After the St. Louis riot, Izzy should have stayed and Axl should have been fired. Really damn sad how stuff has played out over the last 24 years.

He made an outrageous claim to Merck, who coughed up the dough because Axl wanted it to happen.
Izzy was just taking the piss on the aisles, again. Typical Guns, money spent every which way.
