Amazing that IRS aired on the Trunk show and nobody managed to get a decent copy of it. You remember that horrible recording that was floating around? Like it was taped with a Nokia on the other side of the room.
I probably still have that somewhere. The quality was bad, but it still was pretty exciting to hear

I don't have any of the orig leaks anymore. ..I should prolly listen to them again at some point I guess...I don't remeber liking them as much as the final album cuts

Listening to the Rio version of Madagascar I now notice they are almost completely different solos. A shame they didn't catch that for the studio. Maybe they couldn't, Buckethead played it different in every show.
At Rio he hit that sweet spot. Incredibly intense, fluid. Album version isn't bad though.

Speaking of IRS, I never really liked it when the album was first released, but now that I've listened to the album a few times it's grown on me and is one of my favorites.
Still can't believe Better is around and hasn't been eliminated. Therefore, it gets my vote.

i've liked irs and madagascar from day one, through today, without wavering. other songs like cd and itw fall in and out of my graces at times. irs showcases some good energy and excellent vocals, whether the lyrics are generic or not. its a rocker it doesn't need to be deep. madagascar is powerful. i would love to har slash's take on both of these songs without messing with the overall structure of them. i voted better to save madagascar.
