So with my kids getting older they've kinda moved away from the whole Disney movie thing...I've ended up getting a bunch of 80's live action movies for them...our collection so far...some are good for kids and some may e the should be a bit older...but I forgot what they were like lol

Goonies
Short circuit
Honey I shrunk the kids
Lost boys
Et
Beetle juice
Adventures in babysitting
eWok TV movies
Never ending story
Benny and June
What's eating Gilbert grape
Edward scissor hands

And last night I picked up Cats eye with Drew Barrymore from 1985 lol kids wanna watch it 2nite

Can anyone think any other ones I should keep an eye out for? My older daughter is a bit of interest in horror movies...I've been looking for fire starter and poltergeist for her..she is only 11 so I don't want to scare the crap out of her lol

These might not be adult enough, but they were mainstays at parties when we were 9-10 years old.

Gremlins
Problem Child
Cheech & Chong
Vacation Series

Add Pet Semetary to that list for sure. Definitely a great horror movie for kids. Havent watched it in a coon's age but pretty sure there's not much gore and definitely no sex. I'd like to say Stand By Me but you have to be an adult to fully appreciate that film. I liked it when it came out but many years later I truly got the message. Its a fun movie as a kid, sad as an adult. Have they watched Pee Wee's Big Adventure yet?

My god so much time has passed. I remember when your daughter was 2.

Pet Semetary??? I've only ever read the book but I remember thinking it was pretty dark, did they really make the film kid friendly?

Honey I blew up the kids was always my favourite of that franchise if you haven't seen it/got it already.

Last Action Hero
Princess Bride
Crocodile Dundee I and II
Hook
The Mask

It came out when I was 13 I think. She's 11.  The book is definitely darker and also had sex in it(I think).

Having said that, Zelda will give you the chills no matter how old you are.

Rachel....Rachel....I'm coming for you, Rachel. And this time, I'll get you

Nothing But Trouble was an odd classic I remember. Entire movie is absurd, but was pretty scary when I was younger.
