This is a pic I found of my actual exit for work. I take I-75 to exit 69, Big Beaver each and everyday I work. So... yes.... I get off on Big Beaver everyday.

Great photos Russtcb - I conveniently noticed in this pic that Big Beaver is on "Exit 69" too.

That's just too funny Backlash!  I'm surprised that the town hasn't tried to get together to change the name.

You could set up a pretty funny souveniour shop there.

Some in the community have tried to change it, but it always gets overturned if it's voted on because of the stigma and fame attached to the name.  Dildo gets a lot of tourism based on its name, so they figure if they change it, tourism will go way down.

The really funny thing is that the town's mascot is named Captain Dildo.

Deja-fuckin'-Vu Russ!!  I am almost certain I've taken that very exit!!!  I don't know if it is just my mind playing tricks on me or what but that seems so very familiar, even the landscape around the exit sign.

There's a town in Virginia called Manassas that I see when driving on I-95.

Also, there's a town in PA called Jim Thorpe. Only problem is Jim Thorpe the athlete wasn't born in or never lived there. Never even set foot in the town. I don't know the full story but I think he died broke & his family couldn't afford the funeral, so the town offered to bury him in hopes it would draw modest interest from nearby locals to the town. Only they also decided the rename the town in his honor. Supposedly alot of people were even against it back then, and they are finally just now using their previous name more often, Mauch Chunk.

I have several friends from Manassas, it's actually a city that has 35-40 thousand residents.  That area is getting huge, in fact all of Northern Virginia is.  I live a few hours south of Manassas.   I see what it looks like...."Man-asses"...lol, I never thought about that.  It's syllibication is actually Ma·nas·sas.  If you're a history buff the Civil War battles of Bull Run were fought in this area, the confederates called these "the battles of Manassas".

There's a small suburb a few miles away called "Fuzzy Hole"...the funny thing is there is some "quiet roads" in this area and many people go there to make out as teens.  That was one of the first places I ever got to third base!
