I would too but it seems Tampa is in love with him and it will be much easier for him there than anywhere else. I agree, I wouldn't touch him.

Honestly not sure I'd take  Winston with a 2nd rd pick. Just a headcase waiting to blow once he gets $$.   Plus big school QBs don't have a very good track record in the NFL (See USC QBs)

Pretty sure this is all fluff, Mariotta will be the top QB taken, likely #1.

I guarantee you The Bucs take Winston. It's not what I would do, but there are good insiders in Tampa who've said he's the leading guy for the first pick. I'll even say there's a chance The Jets move up with the Jags or Titans to get Mariota.

Atlanta and Cleveland might potentially lose first round draft picks for artificial crowd noise and texting coaches during a game. Wow.

The Winston thing is a bluff.  He's gonna drop.  Tampa's gonna run like hell in the other direction from him lol.

Anyone think Goodell's gonna be back?

I think he shouldn't.  The league's had a bad year & the players are all losing respect for him. Some things are getting absurd, the crotch grabbing, the dropping pants in the end zone??  The lack of uniformity of suspensions & fines (Josh Gordon 10 games for smoking weed vs 2 games for Ray Rice punching a woman in public??  Sean Peyton a whole year vs Bill Belicheck likely very little).

Yeah MR ID, the whole Cleveland thing just sounds wierd.. I'll have to read into that more.

My thing is this tho, the owners are making money, AND Roger Goodell is there.  Not BECAUSE Roger Goodell is there.  It's like basketball in the early 90s (post Magic/Bird > pre-Jordan).  It was wildly popular not because of David Stern, but Stern just happened to be there.

Anyway I really don't think any Commissioner has ever been worse than Goodell has, Maybe Selig during the whole Roids era, knowing it was going on, but that's just 1 error.  Goodells just had one after another.  If next year gets worse its going to be real bad.

I think you're right, he'll be back.  Next year will be thin ice for him, and I expect a strict crackdown on punishments for everything to cover his butt, not for the betterment of the league necessarily.
