The only pledge level which includes the CD currently seems to be the $100 mark
Re: Rapidfire recordings available on Kickstarter
I actually thought I was misreading the page as $100 seemed way to steep for the CD. I was assuming the $25 pledge included a regular "non-special edition" CD and he just forgot to mention it - maybe because it's so obvious that people were only donating to hear the music, sort of thing. Apparently not, and it sounds like Kevin is only wanting to offer the music for a $100 pledge
I'd happily donate $20 for a legal digital download, but I'm not going to donate $20 for a Rapidfire flyer just to support this project - what the fuck do I want with a flyer for this shitty unknown band lol. When the music is illegally uploaded to Youtube I'll hear it then for free. If Kevin changes his mind I'll happily donate, otherwise he can keep the demos to himself for all I care, and that is what he is threatening on Facebook due to the lack of donations, and I certainly won't lose any sleep over not hearing these.
FTR, I'd gladly donate $100 towards the release of any of the following:-
Chi Dem 2 leaks
Full Chi Dem official Remixes leaks
Izzy and the Ju Ju Hounds in Chicago studio video
Down by the Ocean
Perfect Crime doc
01.01.01 DVD
etc etc...
These demos are just way overvalued as far as Im concerned. Especially given the fact that Axl will no doubt block their release after the campaign is successfully funded. If Topps can't get Axl to sign a few cards then what chance does Kevin have of getting this CD out there?
