A U.S. tour perhaps after this festival perhaps? I need to see this band at least once in my life time dammit.
Re: GNR Confirmed for Heaven & Hell Metal Fest (16/3/2014)
What he said.
Still, guys like Rob Zombie work hard to get their billing. It speaks volumes of the original bands legacy that, despite their best efforts, Axl and his cronies haven't managed to whittle it down. All those non-releases, cancellations and general nonsense since only add up to his legacy as the lunatic now solely in charge of the asylum.
Re: GNR Confirmed for Heaven & Hell Metal Fest (16/3/2014)
Thats pretty cool! Wonder how This I Love will go down with that audience
Could be a sign that, mabye just mabye, Axl might be finally ready to do something with that meaner and heavier music he's got lying around?
Re: GNR Confirmed for Heaven & Hell Metal Fest (16/3/2014)
The irony is that most established bands have a hard time getting their fans to buy or even get interested in their new music. I remember hearing "We don't want the new stuff" chanted at Black Sabbath before the last album. It's the total opposite with GN'R. Fans demanding new music, while others just want the nostalgia act. It's funny.

That's because everyone feels like Axl has wasted his talent for the last 20 years. He basically fucking quit in the middle of his prime, while those other bands declined with shittier and shittier releases every couple years. Their fans know exactly what they will get with "new" music from those bands.
