If anyone expected new album this year here`s the revelation for you. GNR stopped functioning as a band long time ago. GNR is more of a brand than a band now.

I didn't expect a new album soon (although I do one day seeing as we know there's an album of unreleased stuff)...but I do find it odd that GNR frequently commissions the creation of stuff then it doesn't come out....

In comparison, just look at what Slash can accomplish on about a tenth of the budget.
If Slash had a singer that was universally adored like Axl, his triumph would be complete.

I just don't understand how a man like Axl with so much talent could let himself slip so easily into complacency.
Slash who he accused of being lazy, has a fucking awesome work ethic, puts out new music regularly, and tours like a motherfucker.
It's so sad, and I hope to hell Axl proves me wrong, but seeing shit like this below just pisses me off.

Really? We've been lead to believe there was a live dvd(s) in the works from the band themselves, and DJ says every other interview that a new album is being worked on.
They must think we're fucking morons to not question that statement.
