Re: Korn detail new album with Head
Korn have released more details of upcoming album The Paradigm Shift – their first with guitarist Brian 'Head' Welch since 2003's Take A Look In The Mirror.
The 13-track record is set for release on September 30, and Head says it's got "the old Korn vibe with a fresh 2013 sound."
He adds: "All this stuff came in the perfect time. I knew it was meant to be because it was so smooth – everything fell into place. When we started writing, everything started falling into place better.
"It was just so awesome. There's been no negative anything at all."

Re: Korn detail new album with Head
While I'm not really a fan of Korn in general. I dig some of their early songs. I actually did see Head play with his other band, Love & Death at this church concert set with a couple bands with a friend of mine and he was kicking ass. So was his band. They did a metal version of Devo's Whip It with the hats and everything. He seemed to be a very nice guy and extremely humble while on stage. Thanking his band and his buddies in Korn.
Re: Korn detail new album with Head
I was a huge fan back in the day. Saw them live twice, and they put on a hell of a show. I haven't listened to them in a long time though. Kind of feel like the time has passed on their sound, and they can't transcend the rap rock fad that got them known.
But I'll give this a listen when it comes out, why not.
