The real thing to me is....if Azoff helped sort out the release of the last record...and if it turned out he just wanted a reunion....is there anyone that can sort out the business side for a CD2?

And I think that songs that are supposedly finished are just bits and pieces, instrumentals without vocals, lyrics and arrangements.

Why jump back in the studio when the last time was such a confidence sapping, draining, possibly emotional and time consuming process?

Private Eye sums it up for me here.
I think Axl burned himself out overthinking CD. Bearing in mind that he carries any bad things that happen to him around for eons,, mulling over them relentlessly, I would say on the Axl timeline, its still too soon and he just does not feel ready to face CDII.

Axl may have looked at what happened with VR II and fears that without the curiousity factor so prevalent for CDI, CDII will bomb no matter how good it is.
I just don't think he can face that.
He can trade of the old days, make a good living, get chubby and comfortable and ease into his 50's.

Look at Matt, he said he has no longer got the energy to refloat a big band like VR from scratch so my feeling is that Axl is the same.

Maybe Axl wants to release cd2 but the record company don't like it.

Axl won't publically be seen to step into a studio because the record company would then hold off to see what else the band could come up with?

Dude, come on now. You know what I mean. Appetite for Democracy 3D hasn't been released yet, and this one actually has some pretty good promotion, something Azoff couldn't/wouldn't do.

Which good promotion? A Facebook page with some posts from time to time?

Appetite For Democracy is like the CD Remix album.

Soon it will disapear like the London one.

CD2 is on the same category.

UN-FUCKING-FORTUNATELY.
