IF he makes the team, they could either try to develop his QB skills and see how that goes or try to find effective ways to use him.  Both he and Brady on the field at the same time.  Maybe try him out as a FB, TE, WR, etc.  The Pats love versatile players, so he could win a spot by showing he can do a variety of things.
