If Axl can get by using the GN'R name and being the only original member, I think STP with 3 original members have every right to use their name as well.

If Axl can get by using the GN'R name and being the only original member, I think STP with 3 original members have every right to use their name as well.
They don`t. Scott is a founding member not these pricks. Slash is ok with them carrying on without original vocalist ? he`s a hypocrite to say the least.

It is a little hypocritical but then again Slash is consistent that he doesn't like to be fucked over by lead singers egos.
He didn't like it when Axl quit GNR to form GNR and then tried to hire him back as an employee not a partner.
He didn't like shows starting late because of Axl.
He didn't like it when scott started missing shows and turning up late in VR.
So he is probably just sympathetic to the STP boys, as once again it seems Scott was playing his "I'm the frontman and it's about me" card too hard.

This is absolutely killer, and it's a shame in a way too, because it demonstrates how great Chester could've been with VR.

That's why they call it "lead singer syndrome" 
I actually think there's a good reason for it: To pull off being the front man you need some balls and some fucking A+ self confidence...that's what front men type guys have and that's why they can hold the stage....however those same traits can eventually turn on the band and make you an asshole to work with

Yeah, but STP have always been those four guys. It's not as though Scott had another band called STP with different members and they joined after.
