I think Comfortably Numb at Live 8 must be near, if not the pinnacle of rock music. It was fuckin orgasmic. I got like 25-30 text messages when Floyd was on, a lot from folk I hadnt heard from in years, all saying the same thing... are you watching this shit!!!!

Dave's guitar seering out over London that night and being broadcast around the world live... I cant think of a more epic moment in rock ever, even looking back on youtube its still spellbinding, but in the moment watching it live on tv I dont think in my life I've ever witnessed something so powerful.
