Re: Black Sabbath
Pretty cool. Probably not going to purchase the new album since I have a few others on my mind. I may get it if I hear most of the album online first and I really enjoy what I'm hearing.

Well you got me there good sir. I've run out of room for music in my room at the moment. Hoping to expand very soon when a few more paychecks come in. Also I'm not a huge Sabbath fan. Love most of their early material (mostly the hits), some songs from the Dio years; but the more obscure after Sabotage years with Ozzy I couldn't get into. I do hope to be pleasantly surprised when the album drops and wish success for these guys. Do hope Bill comes around and does some live shows in the future. But...I absolutely love Ozzy's solo material and not just with Randy. Even though some songs off his last two albums could of held abit stronger with production and better writing. Let Me Hear You Scream and Let It Die were some killer tunes. Other than that I'll check it out.

Several Canadian rock stations have posted this image of what appears to be the day they plan to air it... Remember, Black Sabbath’s new single “God Is Dead” will impact radio by April 23rd via Vertigo/Republic Records (Source: http://www.allaccess.com/rock/future-releases). Impact means every station should have it on or before that day. I think the premiere is imminent, as some of the larger markets here may already have the single.

Another new single will make its debut on the ‘CSI’ Season Finale... Rolling Stone reports that the band will premiere the record’s leadoff single, ‘End of the Beginning,’ during the May 15th episode of the top-rated show that finds stars Ted Danson and Marc Vann investigating a Sabbath concert for clues to “a trail of murders with horrifying similarities to the sins in ‘Dante’s Inferno.’” (Source: http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/ … e-20130410)

Re: Black Sabbath
Awesome info on the link above. Ozzy used a similar tactic to promote Scream and it worked quite successfully. Van Halen too. Hopefully we'll see some new Sabbath songs in more TV spots and maybe a movie or two. Strange that they are using the Never Say Die logo for one of the ads since of the band hated the final version of that album and was their lowest point. The early press and media reaction to a private debut of the album seemed to be loving it. I would love to see them live near my area if the price is right.

Reminder: Black Sabbath “God Is Dead” will hit radio stations on Thursday (4.18.13), maybe a few days earlier in large markets. The single will be available for purchase on Amazon (most likely iTunes as well) this Friday (4.19.13)!

The track-length is 8:52, damn near 9 minutes. I'm looking forward to this one, far beyond excited to hear the single and the album.
