That is fucking great, thank you for posting. I laughed pretty hard at the "AND IT TOOK 8000 YEARS TO BUILD!"
Also, it's too bad to hear that DJ apparently started smoking again.
Yeah, was thinking the same, as I remember him talking up giving it up recently.
Unless of course, he's just trying to give himself a bit of rock cred...

Might be stresses going on in his life that needs a little something to cope & relax with. Hopefully he goes back to kicking it soon. He seemed to be really up to quitting for good. Or..could be getting tired of waiting on Axl to show up. 
In all seriousness, do appreciate him and 
being humorous and taking it in stride and playing for the fans.
