Re: Custom Compilations
After reading about the DP tribute Re-Machined, I decided to do the same thing for Led Zeppelin IV and Master of Puppets. I'll post the full track list later, but for now I'll tell you that Zeppelin IV includes Great White, Heart, Rollins Band, and WASP, while Master includes Trivium, Primus, Bullet for My Valentine, and the Scorched Earth Orchestra. I can also take requests for albums as long as they are influential enough to have all the songs be covered. NOTE: I will not be posting MP3s of the albums. These are simply suggestions for making a tribute to one of your favorite albums. In the meantime, does anyone know a good cover of Think About You?

Disposable Heroes- Chimaira
Leper Messiah- Scorched Earth Orchestra

It's cheating if Jimmy Page is involved!
I would have picked the 4 non blondes version myself.

Re: Custom Compilations
@Rex That'll be a bonus track.
Okay, here's Appetite for Destruction. I couldn't find any non-Slash covers of Rocket Queen, You're Crazy, Think About You, and Anything Goes. So I replaced those with Shadow of Your Love and the performances of It's So Easy, Paradise City, and KOHD from the Marquee gig. And know people will whine about lack of Sheryl Crow, but I personally didn't want it.
John 5- Welcome to the Jungle
Manic Street Preachers- It's So Easy (b-side of You Love Us)
Slash- Nightrain (Live in Sydney)
Halestorm- Out Ta Get Me
Velvet Revolver- Mr. Brownstone (Live, Colonge)
Slash- Paradise City feat. Fergie and Cypress Hill
AFI- My Michelle
Gilby Clarke, Jizzy Pearl, Randy Castillo, Tracii Guns- SCOM
GNR- ISE Marquee 1987
GNR- KOHD Marquee 1987
GNR- PC Marquee 1987
GNR- Shadow of Your Love
On the the thread's title change- I'm now doing more than just tribute albums. I'm still taking requests though.

Re: Custom Compilations
Okay guys, I'll be making "The Conspiracy Deepens!" aka "The Spaghetti Incident?" Part II. Featuring covers of Queen, Rose Tatto, Aerosmith, the Who, Black Sabbath, and more! After that, it'll be "Accidents Happen" which will focus on Slash solo. I'll also be posting covers for these albums as soon as I can figure out Photoshop. I also plan to cover the rest of Zeppelin's studio efforts and maybe Ride the Lightning.:mosh:

Re: Custom Compilations
Got a bunch of stuff for Conspiracy done. Includes Rolling Stones, Who, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, etc. Suggestions and links would be greatly appreciated. Just started making a list for Accidents. I'd also like to announce Use Your Illusion Live and Sneak Peaks, a collection of live versions and demos of songs that were around way before they were released. Paranoid tribute might happen. I'll have to check setlist.fm, but Ride the Lightning is almost a definite.

Re: Custom Compilations
I plan to to get the list for Conspiracy done Thursday or Friday. Ride the Lightning can be done. UYI Live, Sneak Peek and TCD have covers. Also, does anyone have the album The Other Side of Ozzy Osbourne? I'm making a collection of his b sides so I want to know when the live tracks were recorded.
