Even on live era, the touch ups are not meant to sound like studio, but to sound "live". There may not be. Any, that said at times it look like the voice and video were not perfectly in sync. That could have been because of a number of reasons. He did sound great at times... He sounded really good at the Atlanta show I went to. Haha, even if Axl started to do touch up, he likely didn't finish, which is why the first 3 songs are killer and the rest sounds weaker. Haha. Just kidding.
Maybe Axl or management didn't like what they saw or heard from the VH1 broadcast as it seems the 5 hour special is no longer on the VH1 Classic schedule for this weekend. Referenced by Jarmo earlier and Eddie Trunk a bit ago. Seems there's some contractual issue. Surprise! In typical GnR fashion.
Maybe they need Axl to finish touching up the rest of his vocals.

This is rather strange. I do hope they release the full version of the show in it's 2 & 1/2 hour length even with the edits, transitions, and shit. At least it makes up for the cop out we got a few days ago. Come on Team Brazil don't fuck this up for Vh1 classic.

Now the Palladia dates are there, they're just changed so who knows what's up:
Maybe they had an issue with the video block, as undoubtedly Slash would've been prominently on display. Pure speculation of course, but we're all pretty good at that by now. One way to solve that issue. Create and release videos featuring the current lineup.
I swear, this band defies logic. If its not one thing, it's something else.

$lashba being mixed so low is obv on purpose. someone somewhere along the line has obv decided to do it out of spite. not saying it was a GnR decision, but someone in the line of production must have an issue w/dj & chosen this as a way to get at him.
or at least i hope this is the case.
it'd be something i'd do. it makes me laugh.

this is very true. they don't act logically at all. the people making the decisions are some kind of mix of really insane & really stupid. you know who is what.
