he is a nut...just watched the Coma vid for the first time in a long time....holy fuckin shit....Slash is f'n awesome...Ax is awesome as well but runs out of gas at the end. However, that is to be expected as that has to be the hardest Gnr song to sing EVER....hands down. Bad ass vid and a bad ass band. I think ol Buzz was there...

I completely agree. I don't even think the guy is a spoiled diva anymore, I think he's just fuckin' crazy. Which is pretty much what the world knew in 1992.

You're right about that vid and others. I recently bought a smart phone for the first time, and some dude talked about some shittastic emo-post-grunge band and talked about how tight they were.

I opened up the voice thingy, and went on YouTube and said, "Guns N Roses, Ritz 88, Paradise"

Opened the video and shoved it in his face. I said "THAT was a fuckin' band". Dude was blown away, then started searching more stuff for Guns. Young dude.

In 2010 for the Porto Alegre show, that was scheduled to 9:30 PM and started only by 1:00 AM of the next day, by 10:00PM he was still in Sao Paulo having dinner with Ellen Jabour.

He left Sao Paulo around 11:30 PM and basically arrived in Porto Alegre at the stage. One of the opening acts basically left because of that, the other played only three songs, Baz played his normal set.

Everybody blamed Rio storm and bureaucracy for forensics, but later on the dinner news came out from Ellen herself.

Well, the Budapest show in 2006 was scheduled for 9:00 PM. They started to play the intro at 11:55 PM. The event's organizator later said that Axl arrived to the Budapest airport at 10:30 PM and a bunch of policemen secured his way to the arena to avoid the riot. Axl spent a bit more time in Milano than the band. Then he needed a little rest after the flight.

Axl does care about the fans. 13

Lets face it, the guy is a dick. Know of any other artists who do this consistently? Nope.

Said Axl was 2 hours late one night so he could finish watching a Sunday Night Football game. Said he was a big gambler.  Said all the crew was so pissed. He had to be at another job at 5:30 am...  Thought it was interesting.

When I saw them a few years back they didn't hit the stage until after a big Saturday night College Football game was over.  I forget who was playing, pretty sure it was Oregon vs. someone.  But anyway, the speculation was they (Axl) were watching the game and wouldn't go on until it ended.  Thus the long wait after Sebastian Bach's set ended.  It was a good hour plus.  I was surprised the crowd didn't get restless.  A well informed and patient crowd, I guess.
