And not to take anything away from Jon here, but it was their FIRST show of the tour.  So they could've viewed it as a "rehearsal" type show in front of an intimate crowd.  Not that it takes away from the gesture, but I'm not certain he'd have been so eager to do this 2 months and 30 shows into the tour.

They've been doing something different with each album since Crush. They've also reworked their old hits for live shows. I don't think Jon can sing like he used to.

And I loved Richie's album too.
