First of all, i love his new single.

Always loved the voice.

What made me laugh is an interview on french tv...

One thing he said got me sneering :

" does jesus help me write songs" ?

To which he replied

" no he is too busy helping bono"...

I love nick cave as well - his voice, his lyrics, his performances - his talent as a musician are fkn phenomenal. And as a screenwriter to boot (The Proposition) My first introduction to Nick and the Bad Seeds was the Murder Ballads album and I was just in awe of it!
His last album Abbatoir Blues etc - was incredible and the new stuff is right up there as well. I last saw him at a mini-festival in UK last year and he played a "nick cave" set, then a Grinderman set (his other band) on two days - just fantastic.
