Stormbringer is the greatest rock song of all time:
Deep Purple > Zeppelin > (pre 2000) Aerosmith > Ac/Dc > Sabbath > Guns N roses > Iron Maiden
Oh and Justin Bieber > Van Halen
Van Halen are a horrible horrible band. I'd take Whitesnake over Van Halen any day.
Rush? Meh. Not bad, Geddy Lee's Mariah Carey impersonations can be a little grating at times however. If the 80's thought us anything it's that a large range maketh not the good singer. The best thing about the 90s music scene is that it killed pointless vocal acrobatics... dead. I"d take buckcherry over Van Halen.

I dunno, Buckcherry all sounds the same to me for the most part, and it all sounds really bland too, aside from a couple of ok songs
I'll admit that Lit Up was good.
Van Halen have dozens of catchy tunes, much much better than Buckcherry though.

I like Deep Purple, but they're not anywhere near Zeppelin IMHO. You also overrated Aerosmith big time. Those fuckers sold out in the 80's. 70's Aerosmith was great, but it is hard to ignore what they've done the last 30 years. Their 80's, 90's, and 2000's music is much worse than Van Halen, a band that you trashed above.
