I was able to record a version of the drums today... I recorded to the cd, so Neemo, how can I send you the track? It's just a rough track but I think we can start adding layers to it...
Should we talk on Skype (everyone involved) so we can start sharing files back and forth?

Funny that you mentioned that, I recorded a backing vocal demo and edited it abit earlier today. Going to record one more track because some of high note vocal parts didn't came out as great as I hoped. I was going to send a few other synth programming instrumentals that could thrown into the mix or for a future Guns cover for Better or another song. Should be done with them completely in a few hours. Can't wait to hear your drum tracks, Otto.
I have Russ's email in my address book. Should I send it to him or do I need to get your & Neemo's email addresses too? I can message you guys mine.

We could form a group over Skype, perhaps?
I recorded it against the cd version, not my favorite way of doing so...
Don't get your hopes up too much, I'm no Matt Sorum

Anyway, I multitracked it with Audacity, I can send the files through mail or any other way to anyone who may like it..

Dude..I can't play drums. Cool with me. I'm easy to please when it comes to jamming with others. I can't multi track my vocals. Some of the verses are abit off key; but the person who is doing lead vocals and the main editors can fix all that I suppose. I edited some of my parts and had to listen to a copy of the song on my computer; so I wouldn't accidentally mess up a part haha. I'm cool with doing a skype conversation sometime. I'll send you my skype name in messaging.

It shouldn't be too long. It's a few wav files featuring vocals and one other file featuring a few other synth bits and other things we could use either for this cover song or another down the road. I'll send them in abit.

Don't really use Google docs; but this is a great time to use it I suppose. Here are my backing vocals tracks for the song, a cowbell recording I made, and some synthesizer electronic sound effects and experimentation that could used for other music projects in this forum community all in the following zip folder. Already sent it to Otto and Neemo. Vocals will be last to be implemented and edited into the song; but I decided to record them anyway since I had some free time to do so and provide some other things I was tinkering with. We will probably need another person to do lead vocals and backing with me when the time comes for that.
